Why are most of 210’s discounts only up to 25%?

A few years back, a couple of prominent dispensary chains started marking up their products higher than they should be, then offering lots of sales and discounts (like “40% off everyday!!“) to make customers think that they’re getting the best deal around.

Though this strategy is effective and has since become very common among Washington cannabis dispensaries, it’s not a great long-term strategy for an industry that’s known to have razor thin margins (not to mention this strategy is intended to bleed out smaller dispensaries so they can eventually go under, get bought by a large company, and consolidated into existing chains), and we’re not playing that game.

At 210 Cannabis Co, we pride ourselves on having some of the lowest prices around, so we mainly cap our discounts at 25% so we can continue offering our customers and patients every day low prices years from now.
