If possible, use a more fine grind for joints (as opposed to a more course grind for bowls), but don’t grind your weed down into a powder.

Rolling your own joints with fresh ground flower tastes better than a preroll, and usually costs less. Watch YouTube tutorials to learn how to roll, or pack some empty cones.

Filter tips hold their shape better if you rub them between your palms before rolling up a joint.

Using glass tips will make your hand rolled joints taste better, and they can be cleaned and reused.

Don’t have a glass tip? Try rolling with an uncooked piece of fusilli instead. Seriously– try it!

Make your own “hash hole” joints by rolling rosin into a tube, placing it over your weed, then covering it with a little more herb before you roll it up. Make sure the rosin stays centered.
