FAQs > Dispensary > How accurate is 210 Cannabis Co’s online menu?

How accurate is your online menu?

We do our best to ensure that our online menu is as accurate as possible, but there may be some variation on the potency numbers as well as the product images. This is partially because our online menu is powered by I Heart Jane, a third party provider that the overwhelming majority of Washington dispensaries (at least 90%) utilize for their online menus, and our product listings are pre-populated from numbers and product images they have in their database.

While this is a very efficient system, there are a few drawbacks:

  1. THC percentages for flower & prerolls naturally vary quite a bit from batch to batch, so the number on the menu may not always match up with the number on the product’s packaging, and
  2. cannabis producers tend to re-brand or change their packaging/ hardware on a regular basis, at which point the I Heart Jane thumbnails become outdated.

We make an effort to manually change product profiles when there is an egregious difference between the previous product and the current offering, but we also receive hundreds of new products a week so it can be challenging to keep up on this. This issue is not unique to 210 Cannabis Co.

Encountering inaccuracies on a dispensary menu can certainly be frustrating for consumers, but consider that nearly every other Washington dispensary is using the same 3rd party provider for their menus, and are therefore just as susceptible to being perceived as ‘inaccurate’ as we are.
